Quantity Surveyor – MEP Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor with strong MEP experience to manage take‑offs, cost estimates and detailed BOQs for our construction projects in Dubai. The role bridges design and delivery, ensuring mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems stay within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed MEP quantity take‑offs from drawings, specifications and project documents.
• Build accurate BOQs and cost estimates that reflect real project needs.
• Review and cross‑check quantities submitted by others to catch discrepancies.
• Prepare quotations and pricing packages for tender submissions.
• Monitor MEP material specifications and market pricing to keep estimates up‑to‑date.
• Collaborate with project and commercial teams to maintain cost visibility from pre‑tender through delivery.
• Identify and flag risks, discrepancies and cost‑saving opportunities early.

Required profile

• Proven experience in MEP quantity take‑off and estimation, preferably in a contracting or consultancy environment.
• Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and translate them into accurate quantities.
• Hands‑on experience preparing BOQs, cost estimates and quotations.
• Familiarity with tender submission processes and related documentation.
• Strong knowledge of MEP materials, specifications and pricing.
