Quantity Surveyor – UAE Nationals Only

About the role

This position supports the tendering and pre‑contract process by ensuring accurate quantity take‑offs, reviewing tender documents and maintaining clear documentation. The role helps minimise risks, avoid costly discrepancies and aligns tender submissions with contract requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Review and analyse tender drawings, specifications and contractual requirements, verify completeness and raise queries.
• Prepare Bills of Quantities and perform accurate quantity take‑offs using drawings, 3D models and contract types.
• Coordinate with draftspersons to produce marked‑up drawings and provide quantity data to engineers.
• Support post‑tender activities, respond to clarifications, verify contract documents after award and assist in kick‑off meetings.
• Organise and upload take‑off workbooks, cost sheets and comparison sheets for knowledge retention.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 0–5 years of experience in quantity surveying or construction cost control, preferably on infrastructure or marine projects in the Middle East.
• Familiarity with international contract frameworks such as FIDIC is a plus.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel for cost calculations and data analysis.
• Experience with cost estimation software (e.g., CANDY).
• Ability to work with 3D and BIM models for quantity extraction.
