Quantity Surveyor – Warehouse, PEB and Steel Structures

About the role

A client is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in warehouse construction, Pre-Engineered Buildings (PEB) and steel structure projects to join its growing team. The position is based in Dubai and requires about 5 to 10 years of experience.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BOQs) and tender documents for warehouse, PEB and commercial building projects.
• Measure and value completed site works for Interim Payment Certificates (IPCs).
• Manage variations, claims and final accounts.
• Review subcontractor and supplier quotations and negotiate competitive rates.
• Monitor project costs against budgets and report cost variances.
• Prepare and submit RFIs, payment applications and procurement schedules.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants and site teams on commercial and contractual matters.
• Assist in tender submissions and respond to RFIs for ongoing tenders.
• Maintain accurate records of material, labour and subcontractor costs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
• Proven experience in warehouse construction, PEB and steel structure projects.
• Excellent negotiation, communication and analytical skills.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts, BOQ preparation and cost control.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, basic AutoCAD and QS software such as CostX, Candy or similar.
