Radiography Technologist

About the role

The Radiography Technologist will perform sonography imaging procedures, assess image quality and support diagnostic evaluation within Royal Hospital Dubai Investment Park. Working under the supervision of senior sonographers or radiologists, the role ensures high‑quality ultrasound examinations and contributes to patient care in an acute hospital setting.

Key responsibilities

• Perform all sonography procedures—including Doppler, obstetric/gynecologic and abdominal scans—according to departmental protocols.
• Evaluate image quality, acquire additional views when needed, and forward images to radiologists for reporting.
• Maintain inventory of ultrasound supplies and equipment, reporting shortages promptly.
• Operate advanced ultrasound software and ensure proper use and safety of equipment.
• Document examinations in the Hospital Information System and upload images to the PACS.

Required profile

• BSc in Radiography or an accredited diploma; current national license and ARDMS registration.
• Minimum two years post‑graduate experience in ultrasound within an acute care hospital, covering Doppler, obstetric/gynecologic and abdominal imaging.
• Fluent spoken and written English; Arabic advantageous.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage time effectively and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
