Ratings Associate – Banking FIG – Arabic & French Speaker

About the role

Moody's is looking for a Ratings Associate to support its Banking FIG team in Dubai. The role combines financial analysis, credit risk assessment and multilingual communication to help assign and monitor credit ratings for corporate and structured finance clients.

Key responsibilities

• Assist Credit Rating Analysts in conducting financial modelling and research for credit rating assignments.
• Prepare and update rating reports, monitoring credit developments across corporates and structured products.
• Collaborate with analysts and stakeholders to evaluate credit risk and ensure data quality.
• Contribute to the integration of AI‑driven tools and data‑analytics platforms into the rating workflow.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (MSc or MBA) in Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical and financial skills with a solid understanding of fixed‑income markets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English, French and Arabic.
• High attention to detail, strong organisational abilities and a proactive learning mindset.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
• Experience with data‑visualisation tools such as Power BI or Tableau (preferred).
• Basic knowledge of Python, SQL or financial‑modelling concepts (preferred).
• Familiarity with AI concepts and responsible AI practices (preferred).
