Real Estate Accountant

About the role

Atmar is looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant with specialised experience in UAE real estate and property management. The role will manage the full accounting cycle for the company’s property portfolio, ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with local tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee rent collection, post‑dated cheque tracking, security deposit refunds and tenant ageing reports.
• Process accounts payable for contractors, utilities and suppliers, and prepare monthly landlord statements and remittances.
• Manage service charge accounting, budgeting and monthly bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and file UAE VAT returns and support corporate tax compliance.
• Generate monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) for individual properties and the corporate entity.
• Facilitate audit documentation and ensure timely financial reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce (CPA, ACCA or CMA preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience, with at least 2 years in UAE real‑estate or property‑management.
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT and corporate tax regulations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with real‑estate/accounting software such as Yardi, SAP, Zoho Books, QuickBooks or Tally.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Hands‑on experience in rent receivables, PDC management and service‑charge accounting.

• Competitive salary of AED 8,000–9,000 per month.
