Receiving Agent – Hotel Finance

About the role

The Receiving Agent supports the hotel’s finance and procurement functions by ensuring all goods received meet quality, policy and hygiene standards. This position combines hands‑on inspection of deliveries with accurate invoice processing to keep operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Verify that all items received conform to the Local Purchase Order (LPO), hotel policies and hygiene standards.
• Physically inspect goods for count, weight and visual specifications before acceptance.
• Deliver inspected goods to the appropriate department and obtain acknowledgements from department heads.
• Review supplier invoices for originality, numbering, itemisation and clerical accuracy; seal and sign satisfactory deliveries.
• Process supplier invoices in FBM promptly and according to standards.
• Prepare and review weekly deviation, outstanding order, and outgoing records reports.
• Identify outstanding outgoing records and notify department heads.
• Maintain a manual and electronic filing system with restricted access.
• Operate safely and in an environmentally friendly manner, complying with health, safety and environmental policies.

Required profile

• Degree in Hotel Management or Accounting.
• Minimum one year of experience in a hotel environment.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Strong computer literacy.
