Receiving Agent – Hotel Operations

About the role

Join Rixos Hotels, a member of the Accor network, and become a Heartist® contributing to responsible hospitality. As a Receiving Agent you will coordinate and monitor the receipt of goods and services, ensuring they meet the hotel’s quality, quantity, pricing and contractual standards.

Key responsibilities

• Verify received goods against purchase orders, contracts, specifications, quantities, prices and quality standards.
• Coordinate delivery schedules with the Storekeeper and relevant departments.
• Identify discrepancies and arrange return or replacement of non‑compliant items.
• Process purchase orders, invoices and receiving documents accurately.
• Assist the Purchasing Chief with supplier coordination, market and price research, and purchasing activities.
• Support supplier visits, stock counts and cost‑control initiatives as required.
• Ensure all receiving activities comply with Rixos Hotels’ policies, procedures, quality standards and Code of Conduct.

Required profile

• High school diploma or relevant vocational qualification; a degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Hospitality or related field is an advantage.
• Previous experience in receiving, purchasing, stores or cost‑control, preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Good knowledge of goods receiving, purchase orders, invoices, stock control and supplier coordination.
