Receiving Clerk – Hotel Operations

About the role

The Receiving Clerk supports the smooth operation of DoubleTree By Hilton Resort And Spa Marjan Island by managing all incoming goods. You will ensure that deliveries are accurately inspected, recorded and distributed to the right hotel departments.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and verify all incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery documents.
• Record received items promptly and maintain accurate receiving logs.
• Control inventory movement by documenting all goods leaving the hotel.
• Assist Accounts Payable/Order to Procure team with invoice matching and delivery reconciliation.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve discrepancies, shortages or damaged items.
• Follow Hilton’s purchasing, procurement, finance and inventory control procedures.
• Collaborate with finance and other hotel departments to ensure seamless daily operations.
• Participate in finance training and continuous‑improvement initiatives.

• Previous experience in receiving, stock control or related logistics functions is preferred.
