Receiving Store Assistant

About the role

The Receiving Store Assistant supports the Finance team at InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Al Arab Resort & Spa by ensuring all goods are accurately received, stored, and issued. This behind‑the‑scenes role is essential for maintaining inventory control and supporting hotel operations.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and verify incoming food, beverage and general store items against invoices and delivery documents.
• Check deliveries for correct quantities, quality and condition before acceptance.
• Issue store items according to hotel procedures and maintain accurate stock records.
• Rotate stock to minimise waste and report damaged or obsolete items.
• Keep storerooms clean, organised and compliant with hygiene standards.

Required profile

• Vocational Certificate in Accounting or related field.
• Approximately 2 years of experience in purchasing, accounting or a similar function.
• Strong numerical skills and attention to detail.
• Good organisational abilities.

Required skills

• Basic knowledge of computerised financial reporting systems.
