Receptionist – Immediate Start at Al Shohub British School

About the role

The school is seeking a friendly and professional Receptionist to join its front‑office team in Abu Dhabi. The role involves providing high‑quality customer service to visitors, parents and staff while supporting the admissions and administrative processes.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist visitors, answer phone calls, and manage the reception area to ensure it is tidy and welcoming.
• Provide accurate information about the school’s curriculum, fees and admission procedures.
• Support the Admissions team with inbound and outbound calls and log enquiries into the MIS database.
• Perform clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, updating attendance registers and preparing standard forms.
• Handle mail distribution, arrange visitor transportation and assist with basic IT tasks (database entry, Excel spreadsheets, internet research).

Required profile

• High school certificate or bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum two years of experience in a customer‑focused role, preferably in education.
• Fluent English (written and spoken); Arabic is a plus.
