Receptionist (Russian Speaker)

About the role

Join the hospitality team at DoubleTree by Hilton Sharjah Waterfront Hotel & Residences as a Receptionist who speaks Russian. You will be the first point of contact for guests, ensuring a warm welcome and seamless stay.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests upon arrival, complete check‑in, verify details, assign rooms, issue keys and provide welcome materials or bell service assistance.
• Process guest departures, verify charges, handle payments, issue receipts and operate the point‑of‑sale system accurately.
• Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of hotel offerings, room types, rates, promotions and local area information to answer guest inquiries.
• Use up‑selling techniques to recommend hotel amenities and maximize room and service revenue.
• Respond promptly to guest requests, resolve concerns with care and urgency, and manage messages and communications effectively.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in Business Administration, Hospitality or Office Management are an advantage.
• Previous or current experience in a similar hotel reception role is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional and friendly manner.
• Good customer service and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general office administration.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Ability to maintain accurate records, manage appointments and handle confidential information.
• Well‑presented, punctual, reliable and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
