Recreation Animator – Resort Guest Activities

About the role

The Recreation Animator leads engaging recreational and entertainment programmes for guests at the InterContinental Fujairah Resort. You will create memorable experiences for adults and families through a variety of indoor and outdoor activities, ensuring safety and brand standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and conduct daily recreational activities such as Aqua Aerobics, Aqua Zumba, Aqua Gym and pool games.
• Organise and lead evening entertainment including karaoke nights, games and other guest‑focused events.
• Maintain regular, friendly interaction with guests to boost participation and satisfaction.
• Supervise the recreation team during daily operations and ensure safe use of equipment.
• Prepare, maintain and inspect activity equipment to guarantee safe and professional delivery.
• Perform additional reasonable duties as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years experience in hotel or resort animation, recreation or entertainment.
• Strong ability to engage guests of diverse nationalities and age groups.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Good command of spoken and written English; additional languages are a plus.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays.
