Recreation Attendant – Guest Services

About the role

As a Recreation Attendant at Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah, you will be the first point of contact for guests using the pool and beach facilities, delivering warm hospitality and ensuring a memorable stay. You will maintain a clean and safe environment while promptly addressing guest requests.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests in a warm, professional, and friendly manner, creating a positive first impression.
• Assist guests with towels, sunbeds, umbrellas, and recreational equipment.
• Respond promptly to guest requests, anticipate needs, and resolve concerns courteously.
• Clean and maintain pools, beach areas, furniture, showers, cabanas, and surrounding spaces.
• Manage towel supply by collecting used towels, restocking clean ones, and monitoring inventory.
• Monitor facility usage, identify potential hazards, and address or report issues promptly.
• Follow health and safety regulations, hotel standards, and enforce facility rules when required.
• Work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations and a cohesive team environment.

Required profile

• Previous experience in recreation preferred.
• Intermediate English language skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Familiarity with Forbes service standards preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.
• Ability to work outdoors for long hours.
