Recreation Manager

About the role

The Recreation Manager will lead the Sports & Recreation department at Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort, ensuring exceptional guest experiences through innovative activities and flawless service delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the Sports & Recreation department to ensure the highest levels of guest satisfaction.
• Create and implement unique recreation activities that showcase local cultural and sporting offerings.
• Manage and monitor outsourced service providers, ensuring quality and compliance with health and safety standards.
• Lead the Anantara Children programme and ensure safe delivery of all activities for children.
• Supervise and train fitness and activity instructors, including lifeguards, aerobics and fitness leaders.
• Track participation and guest feedback, adjusting programmes to maintain quality and originality.
• Prepare annual departmental budget, drive revenue and coordinate with the concierge and spa teams.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a similar role at a luxury resort or hotel in the UAE.
• Strong leadership and team development abilities.
• Excellent communication and guest engagement skills.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus.
• CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
