Refinery Manager – Sharjah

About the role

The Refinery Manager will lead all on‑site refinery operations in Sharjah, ensuring safe, reliable and efficient production. You will be responsible for driving performance, maintaining product quality and upholding the highest HSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily refinery operations, monitor targets and optimise plant performance.
• Supervise distillation processes to guarantee product quality and operational efficiency.
• Lead and coach operations teams, providing technical guidance and workforce management.
• Ensure compliance with HSE standards, safety procedures, environmental requirements and regulatory policies.
• Develop and implement safety initiatives, risk assessments and continuous improvement programmes.
• Monitor equipment performance, identify issues and coordinate corrective actions.
• Prepare operational reports, analyse production data and support strategic improvement plans.
• Coordinate with maintenance, engineering and support teams to ensure smooth refinery operations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering or Petrochemical Engineering.
• Minimum 14 years of experience in refinery or petrochemical operations.
• Proven track record in supervising production teams and achieving operational targets.
• Strong knowledge of safety standards, process optimisation and regulatory compliance.
