Regional Bid Implementation Manager MPL IMEA

About the role

The Regional Bid Implementation Manager – MPL IMEA will lead the design and delivery of multi‑product logistics solutions for new market opportunities across the Middle East and Africa. Working closely with business development, operations and growth teams, the role ensures proposals are technically sound, competitively priced and aligned with Maersk’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Lead MPL solution design for customer pursuits, capturing core data, assumptions and pricing.
• Develop detailed process flows, operating models, cost estimates and draft P&L for proposals.
• Produce engineering visualisations and technical responses for RFQs.
• Analyse RFPs, define bid strategy and set response schedules with stakeholders.
• Coordinate market research, target pricing and support contract negotiations.
• Create implementation charters, manage resource recruitment, procurement and platform readiness.
• Convene project steering committees and oversee go‑live activities to ensure on‑time delivery.
• Maintain documentation and share best practices across the region.

Required profile

• 10+ years experience designing MPL solutions and logistics operations.
• Proven expertise in core MPL verticals and solution standardisation.
• Strong technical and product knowledge, including value‑proposition design.
• Experience in customer‑facing engagements, presentations and negotiations.
• Ability to facilitate cross‑functional decision‑making across regions and functions.
• Innovative mindset with capability to draw conclusions from limited data.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
