Regional General Manager - UAE Nationals Only

About the role

Etihad is seeking a senior UAE national to lead its commercial operations across the APAC region. The role involves defining the overall sales strategy, managing an international sales force, and ensuring that revenue targets align with the airline’s global objectives. Relocation to Singapore, Thailand or Malaysia is required, with full support provided.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute short‑ and long‑term sales plans that align with Etihad’s corporate strategy.
• Lead strategic initiatives to meet sales targets within budget and schedule constraints.
• Prioritize selling activities, allocate resources, and define channel strategies across the APAC markets.
• Standardize regional processes and cascade sales guidelines to ensure consistent customer engagement.
• Introduce new sales techniques and resource allocations to boost local revenue and profitability.
• Identify major risks and propose solutions to senior leadership.
• Coach and develop direct reports, fostering leadership and professional growth.
• Utilize data‑driven insights to monitor performance and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee incentive schemes and ensure effective recognition of sales achievements.

Required profile

• UAE national with extensive experience in senior commercial or sales leadership roles.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets in international or multicultural environments.
• Strong analytical mindset with a data‑first approach to decision making.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Willingness to relocate to the APAC region and lead a geographically dispersed team.
