Regional HSE Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Regional HSE Manager to lead health, safety and environmental performance across major construction, EPC, infrastructure, marine and oil & gas projects throughout the MENA region. This senior leadership position offers a clear path to HSE Director and involves influencing regional strategy, coaching multicultural teams and driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Lead HSE performance across multiple large‑scale projects in the MENA region.
• Provide leadership, coaching and support to regional and project HSE teams.
• Drive continuous improvement of HSE strategies, standards and management systems.
• Monitor performance through audits, inspections, KPIs and incident investigations.
• Review project HSE plans, risk assessments and mobilisation documentation.
• Ensure compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and relevant legislation.
• Build strong relationships with clients, senior stakeholders and operational leadership.
• Support tender submissions, business development and new project mobilisation.

Required profile

• Minimum 15 years HSE experience on major EPC, construction, infrastructure, marine or oil & gas projects in the MENA region.
• BSc degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience managing HSE across multiple large‑scale projects or regional operations.
• Experience leading and developing multicultural HSE teams.
• NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent Level 6 qualification).
• ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification (ISO 14001 advantageous).
• Valid UK, Australian, US or EU passport for regional travel.
