Regional Legal Counsel – MENA

About the role

We are seeking a Regional Legal Counsel for the MENA region to join Stryker's leadership team. This senior position provides strategic legal guidance across the business, ensuring compliance with local laws and supporting major initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Provide practical, solution‑oriented legal advice to Stryker MENA businesses and stakeholders.
• Lead legal support for major regional projects, including business transformation and data privacy programs.
• Manage external counsel and budgets across the region.
• Advise on mergers, acquisitions, integrations and other strategic transactions.
• Draft, review, negotiate and advise on commercial agreements, tenders and distribution arrangements.
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments, assess impact and communicate recommendations.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Law and admission to the Bar in a recognized jurisdiction.
• Minimum 10 years post‑qualification legal experience within the MENA region.
• Experience in a multinational organization or leading law firm.
• Professional fluency in English and Arabic, both written and spoken.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of local MENA laws and regulations.
• Ability to manage external counsel and legal budgets.
• Expertise in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
