Regional Sales & Business Development Manager

About the role

Solar‑IN, a Belgian brand specializing in hybrid solar inverters and energy‑storage systems, is expanding its distribution network across the Middle East and Africa. We are looking for an experienced professional based in the UAE with an active, multi‑country network of solar distributors, importers, EPC firms and installers to drive regional sales.

Key responsibilities

• Introduce Solar‑IN to qualified distributors and EPC companies across selected regional markets.
• Arrange and conduct meetings with business owners and purchasing decision‑makers.
• Develop new country‑level distribution partnerships.
• Identify and qualify relevant distributor and project opportunities.
• Support opportunities through quotation, negotiation and order completion.
• Provide market intelligence on demand, pricing, competition, certifications and warranty requirements.
• Maintain clear records of customer communications and follow‑up actions.

Required profile

• At least three years of regional B2B sales experience in solar energy or energy storage.
• An active distributor or EPC network across multiple Middle Eastern or African countries.
• Proven experience selling solar inverters, lithium batteries or related technical products.
• Previous experience as a regional, export or channel sales manager is highly valuable.
• Direct access to distributor owners and purchasing managers.
• Understanding of international orders, distributor pricing, logistics and after‑sales expectations.
• Strong English and Arabic; French is an advantage for African markets.
• Professional references and transparent reporting; disclose any current representation of competing brands.
