About the role
We are seeking a Registered Midwife to join the maternity team at Royal Hospital Sharjah. The role involves delivering safe, compassionate, and individualized care to patients and their families, in line with NMC Healthcare’s nursing vision and values.
Key responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality midwifery care across all departments, including on‑call duties as required.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient safety and a positive experience.
- Document clinical care accurately using the hospital’s electronic medical record system.
- Advocate for patients, uphold ethical standards, and contribute to a learning culture.
Required profile
- Valid registration as a midwife/nurse with the relevant health authority.
- Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider certification.
- Fluent written and spoken English; Arabic communication is desirable.
- Willingness to work flexibly across departments and on call.
Required skills
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) platforms for clinical documentation.
