Registered Nurse – Accident & Emergency

About the role

Mediclinic Airport Road Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to join its Accident & Emergency department. The role involves providing patient‑centred, evidence‑based nursing care while adhering to ethical and professional standards set by regulatory bodies and the company.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality patient care in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, following clinical standards and legislation.
• Identify, prevent and manage risks to ensure patient safety in line with clinical risk policies.
• Create a positive patient experience by maintaining a conducive environment as guided by nursing leadership.
• Foster a learning environment by supervising, mentoring and coaching junior staff and learners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certificates.
• Minimum two years nursing experience in your home country.
• At least three years recent experience in a hospital Accident & Emergency unit.
• UAE experience is desirable.
• Preference given to candidates in line with the UAE Emiratization programme.

Required skills

• Basic Arabic language proficiency.
• Comprehensive knowledge of patient safety standards.
• Computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
