Registered Nurse – Aviation & Occupational Health

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Etihad Airways Medical Centre in Khalifa City, Abu Dhabi. The role supports aviation, occupational and general health services, working closely with physicians to ensure crew fitness and employee wellbeing.

Key responsibilities

• Assist physicians in medical fitness examinations for aviation and occupational pre‑employment, initial and renewal medicals.
• Perform vital signs, vision tests, ECG, audiogram, tympanometry, spirometry, height, weight, BMI, and vaccinations.
• Prepare and maintain confidential patient medical records in line with GCAA, DOH, OSHAD and other regulator requirements.
• Ensure medical equipment is calibrated, report malfunctions and coordinate repairs.
• Maintain aseptic standards, cleanliness and infection control within the centre.
• Conduct regular checks of medical supplies, emergency drugs and crash cart readiness.
• Support health education programs, lectures, events and campaigns.
• Document competency records, develop nursing policies and report incidents.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse (RN) with BSN or Diploma in Nursing.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a large hospital or medical centre with UAE DOH/DHA licence.
• Occupational & aviation nursing experience preferred.
• Valid BLS certification and registered as Emergency First Responder.
• At least 2 years experience in chronic disease management services.
• Fluent English, computer literate and customer‑service oriented.
