Registered Nurse - Delivery Suite

About the role

This role supports women and their families throughout pregnancy, labour and the immediate post‑birth period. The nurse provides holistic, evidence‑based care, educates patients, assists with birth‑plan creation and ensures the well‑being of both mother and newborn.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal care, including management of all three stages of labour.
• Handle maternity and neonatal emergencies such as postpartum haemorrhage, antepartum haemorrhage, shoulder dystocia and labour induction.
• Care for high‑risk women under senior midwife supervision, both before and during delivery.
• Manage patients with epidurals and caesarean sections, including medication administration and fetal monitoring.
• Perform cannulation, phlebotomy, urethral catheterisation and CTG monitoring and interpretation.
• Conduct examinations, develop care plans, and carry out antenatal screening tests.
• Provide support and education to parents on newborn care, including sensitive situations like miscarriage or stillbirth.

Required profile

• UAE DHA licence and a Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
• Registered Nurse qualification from Canada, USA, UK, Ireland, South Africa, New Zealand or Australia.
• Minimum two years of experience in a hospital or similar setting.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) for digital documentation.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
