Registered Nurse - Endoscopy

About the role

The Registered Nurse – Endoscopy will lead a learning culture among nursing staff, act as a subject‑matter expert in endoscopy, and ensure high‑quality, safe patient care. The role involves collaboration with the interprofessional team, supporting audits, training, and patient education.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a learning culture among nurses in the specialist endoscopy field.
• Serve as a role model and improve safety and quality of care for patients.
• Participate as a subject‑matter expert within the interprofessional team.
• Lead audit and data collection for KPIs and benchmarking.
• Support nurse educator with training programs and needs analysis.
• Educate patients and the public about health conditions and provide emotional support.
• Perform systematic patient assessments, develop and monitor care plans.
• Assist in invasive and non‑invasive medical procedures and support safe admission, transfer and discharge.

Required profile

• Valid license to work as a registered nurse with the relevant health authority.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider card.
• Post‑graduate specialist qualification (diploma, degree or master) in the relevant field.
• Ability to manage professional re‑licensure and work across departments.
• Fluent written and spoken English; Arabic communication is desirable.
• Previous experience in the specialist endoscopy field and completed relevant competencies.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Neonatal Resuscitation certification.
