Registered Nurse - ICU

About the role

The Adult Intensive Care Unit Nurse will join a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence‑based, holistic care to critically ill patients, monitoring vital signs, responding to emergencies, and operating life‑support systems.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver a high standard of evidence‑based care to patients in the Adult Intensive Care Unit.
• Manage Level 3 critical care patients, including advanced airway management, ventilation, invasive line management, inotropic support, CVVHDF and critical emergencies.
• Perform safe management of central and arterial lines and interpret arterial and venous blood gases.
• Provide expert care for patients on ventilators and with advanced airways, and deliver effective pain management including PCA/PCE.
• Support nursing and organisational strategies, maintain staffing levels, participate in audits and report adverse incidents.

Required profile

• UAE Medical Health Authority License.
• Bachelor’s degree in nursing and registration as a Registered Nurse from Canada, USA, UK, Ireland, South Africa, New Zealand or Australia.
• Minimum 2 years experience in a hospital or similar setting.
• Resuscitation certificate and ongoing CPD.
• Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially and proficient in basic computer applications (MS Office).
