Registered Nurse – Nursery (Early Years)

About the role

Jumeriah International Nurseries (JINS) is looking for a Registered Nurse to ensure the health, safety and well‑being of children aged 6 weeks to 6 years across its nurseries in Dubai and Sharjah. The role combines clinical care, health‑record management and support for classroom staff.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain up‑to‑date medical records and ensure all required documentation is complete.
• Conduct daily health examinations, identify illnesses and isolate affected children for further medical review.
• Provide first‑aid treatment to children and staff, and arrange emergency assistance when needed.
• Oversee health‑and‑safety, hygiene and sickness policies, keeping the clinic ready for DHA or other government inspections.
• Prepare safe play environments, clean and store toys and equipment appropriately.
• Support teachers in the classroom as an assistant when required.
• Deliver training on allergy management and other major medical conditions.

Required profile

• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Strong communication skills with young children and flexibility to handle a variety of tasks.

Required skills

• Current First Aid certification.
• Proficiency in maintaining and updating medical records.
• Knowledge of infection‑control practices and hygiene standards.
• Experience in managing allergies and other medical conditions in a childcare setting.
