Registered Nurse – Operating Theatre

About the role

Join Al-Futtaim Health as an Operating Theatre Nurse and deliver high‑quality peri‑operative care in a modern surgical environment. You will work closely with surgeons, anesthetists and a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, efficient and patient‑centred theatre operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare operating rooms, equipment, instruments and supplies for each surgical case.
• Provide comprehensive peri‑operative nursing care in line with DHA and Al‑Futtaim Health standards.
• Assist surgeons and anesthetists during procedures and monitor patients before, during and after surgery.
• Maintain a sterile environment and follow infection‑control protocols.
• Complete and document surgical safety checklists and patient assessments.
• Manage theatre stock, equipment and consumables.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in quality‑improvement initiatives, audits and ongoing professional development.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or equivalent recognized qualification.
• Current DHA Registered Nurse licence or eligibility letter (mandatory).
• Minimum 2 years of operating‑theatre nursing experience.
• Current BLS certification (mandatory); ACLS certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of peri‑operative practices, infection prevention and patient safety.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
