Registered Nurse – Operating Theatre (Sharjah)

About the role

The Royal Hospital Sharjah is seeking a Registered Nurse to work in the Operating Theatre. You will provide patient‑centred care, coordinate treatment plans, and support patients and families throughout their hospital journey.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in accordance with professional scope of practice.
• Perform systematic patient assessments, record vital signs, and identify nursing diagnoses.
• Create and evaluate interdisciplinary care plans, collaborating with physicians and allied health professionals.
• Administer medications, IV fluids, blood products, and provide wound‑care management.
• Assist in invasive and non‑invasive medical procedures and ensure safe patient admission, transfer and discharge.
• Maintain equipment, report faults, and stay current with evidence‑based practices via the Elsevier platform.

Required profile

• Valid licence to practice as a Registered Nurse with the UAE health authority.
• Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support Provider card.
• Willingness to work across departments and be on call when required.
• Commitment to professional re‑licensure and continuous competency development.
