Registered Nurse – OT

About the role

The Registered Nurse – OT will deliver safe, compassionate, and individualized care to patients in the operating theatre environment. Working within the NMC Nursing Mission, Vision, and Values, the nurse will prioritize patient health, wellbeing, and safety at all times.

Key responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate patient care, including education and emotional support for patients and families.
• Perform systematic patient assessments, re‑assessments, and collect relevant clinical data.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans in collaboration with physicians and the inter‑professional team.
• Record vital signs, recognize abnormalities, and escalate issues promptly.
• Prepare patients for examinations, administer medications, and ensure adherence to clinical protocols.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse qualification with a valid license to practice in the UAE.
• Experience in operating theatre or acute care settings.
• Strong ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to continuous learning and adherence to NMC Nursing Strategy.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Neonatal Resuscitation
• Medication administration
