Registered Nurse Paediatrics – Outpatient Clinic

About the role

The Outpatient Department Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care to patients attending the outpatient facility or clinic. The role covers recording patient histories, performing diagnostic tests, administering medications and developing patient care plans with physicians and other healthcare professionals. It is a full-time position based in Dubai, UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care needs on an ongoing basis.
• Provide regular, accurate updates to patients and their relatives in clear, sensitive language.
• Involving patients, caregivers and families in care where appropriate and giving health education to promote healthy lifestyles.
• Maintaining patient confidentiality and respecting dignity, privacy, cultural and religious beliefs.
• Communicating patient condition and care information clearly to the multidisciplinary team.
• Working flexibly across the organisation to maintain safe staffing levels or meet professional development needs identified in the appraisal process.

Required profile

• DHA (UAE Medical Health Authority) licence.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing.
• At least 2 years of experience in a paediatric hospital or similar setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in basic computer applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Ability to manage digital documentation and communication effectively.
