Regulatory Affairs Specialist – Middle East

About the role

The Regulatory Affairs Specialist ensures that all new and existing products and operations comply with applicable regulatory requirements across the Middle East. You will support market authorisation, manage regulatory obligations, and help maintain business continuity through proactive regulatory management.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and support new registration dossiers for pharmaceutical products, food supplements, and medical devices in accordance with country guidelines.
• Maintain and update registrations for existing products with local and regional health authorities.
• Submit variations, renewals, updates and amendments, ensuring timely delivery to authorities.
• Monitor local regulations, guidelines and industry standards to guarantee ongoing compliance.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities to resolve issues and secure approvals.
• Create and maintain labeling and artwork files that meet country-specific requirements.
• Review promotional and advertising materials for regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with global, EMEA and local regulatory teams, as well as cross‑functional groups such as quality, commercial and supply chain.
• Report regulatory activities, approvals and challenges to the MEA Head of Department.
• Manage relationships with distributors, service providers and authorized representatives to ensure timely submissions.

Required profile

• Experience in regulatory affairs for pharmaceuticals, food supplements or medical devices.
• Familiarity with Middle East regulatory frameworks and health‑authority processes.
• Ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders and manage regulatory timelines.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate regulatory records.
