Relationship Manager – Business Banking (Liabilities)

About the role

The Relationship Manager, Business Banking – Liabilities will be responsible for growing the bank's liability book by acquiring and deepening high‑value SME relationships in the UAE. The role combines client acquisition, cross‑selling of products, and rigorous risk and compliance management to support the bank’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire new high‑value corporate clients and expand existing relationships to increase the bank’s liability portfolio and revenue.
• Engage with clients to understand their banking needs, cross‑sell and upsell products, and increase the bank’s wallet share.
• Negotiate pricing and structure of GM and cash products in line with client requirements.
• Maintain up‑to‑date KYC records and prepare credit applications, analysing financial statements for approval.
• Monitor portfolio risk, ensure timely renewals, and identify early warning signals for delinquent accounts.
• Collaborate with product managers and internal stakeholders to promote bank offerings and ensure high‑quality customer service.

Required profile

• University degree (post‑graduate in Business Management or Administration preferred).
• Proven record of driving high‑performance culture and achieving customer‑focused financial targets.
• Strong interpersonal, leadership, and analytical abilities, with experience in complex corporate structures.
• Excellent negotiation, influencing, and communication skills across all stakeholder levels.
