Relationship Manager - Commercial Liabilities

About the role

The Relationship Manager – Commercial Liabilities will drive growth of the Business Banking portfolio by acquiring, onboarding and servicing high‑net‑worth and commercial clients. The role balances revenue generation with strict compliance and risk management.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, market and acquire new commercial and HNI clients, ensuring seamless onboarding in line with regulatory guidelines.
• Promote and cross‑sell the full suite of business banking products, collaborating with internal units to maximise revenue.
• Meet or exceed sales and service targets, generating low‑cost transactional income and other revenue streams.
• Ensure all client interactions comply with bank policies, Central Bank regulations and risk standards, actively mitigating identified risks.
• Gather market feedback to influence product development and continuously improve service delivery.
• Manage a portfolio of business banking clients, delivering personalised solutions and maintaining high client satisfaction and loyalty.
• Coordinate with service and back‑office teams to resolve client queries and meet turnaround times.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) – MBA preferred; for nationals, a higher degree diploma is required.
• Minimum five years of experience in branch banking, operations, relationship management or customer service, preferably within commercial banking.
• Proven ability to acquire and retain profitable relationships with HNI and commercial clients.
• Strong knowledge of banking products and services, with demonstrated HNWI relationship management skills.
