About the role
The Relationship Manager will drive new‑to‑bank business and maintain strong client relationships within the Emirati Deposits team of the Retail Banking Group. This role focuses on expanding Emirati and Islamic banking presence while ensuring high‑quality service and compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Proactively drive new‑to‑bank business to grow Emirati and Islamic business presence.
- Maintain close contact with clients to remain one of their main banks and capture a major share of their wallet.
- Solicit and manage businesses that meet the unit’s risk‑reward parameters.
- Deliver agreed liability targets and cross‑sell other bank products.
- Liaise across the organization to ensure seamless service delivery to clients.
- Collaborate with product and channel partners from RBG, CIBG and the SME FX team to maximise opportunities through regular contact, feedback and cross‑referrals.
- Ensure compliance with KYC, AML, account review and high‑value transaction monitoring requirements.
