Relationship Manager – Real Estate Unit

About the role

The Relationship Manager – Real Estate Unit will be responsible for growing and maintaining Mashreq's real‑estate client portfolio in Dubai. You will use your deep knowledge of the market and financing products to structure deals, assess credit risk and ensure compliance with bank policies.

Key responsibilities

• Review the existing portfolio, recommend credit facilities in line with policy and maximise earnings while containing risk.
• Develop and execute a relationship strategy and account plan for each client, driving cross‑sell and penetration targets.
• Originate new transactions, maintain an active pipeline of “new to bank” business and coordinate with product teams for mandate execution.
• Conduct credit risk assessments, prepare credit proposals and liaise with Wholesale Risk Management and Compliance.
• Build strong relationships with decision‑makers at client organisations to position Mashreq as their preferred bank.

Required profile

• In‑depth understanding of the Dubai real‑estate market and the bank’s financing product suite.
• Proven experience managing real‑estate clients and structuring financing requirements while adhering to lending policies.
• Ability to assess risks associated with real‑estate development stages and to prepare credit proposals.
• Knowledge of legal infrastructure, including escrow laws, is an advantage.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and judgment skills for effective client interaction.
