Relationship Officer – General Insurance

About the role

The Insurance Sales Officer drives sales and retention of insurance products across the bank’s customer base while delivering exceptional service and upholding the highest compliance standards. Working closely with Relationship Managers and branch teams, the role focuses on identifying needs, offering tailored solutions, and building long‑term client relationships to support business growth.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed sales, renewal and service targets in line with business objectives.
• Promote and sell insurance products with professionalism, integrity and regulatory compliance.
• Identify cross‑selling opportunities and drive policy renewal retention.
• Maintain accurate documentation, policy processing and customer service records.
• Provide timely feedback to Relationship Managers on customer needs and sales progress.
• Ensure all interactions follow approved channels and meet SLA/TAT requirements.
• Stay informed on market trends, competitor offerings and recommend enhancements.
• Participate in training and development programs to enhance product knowledge and regulatory awareness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in any related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a sales role, preferably within insurance or financial services.
