Remote M&A Attorney – Contract

About the role

We are seeking an experienced M&A Attorney to join a remote, contract‑based project focused on creating high‑quality legal training data for next‑generation AI systems. The role involves applying your corporate, transactional, and litigation expertise to develop and evaluate legal datasets.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze complex legal scenarios involving mergers and acquisitions, private equity, capital markets, and corporate law.
• Draft, review, and annotate transactional and litigation documents with precise legal context.
• Develop high‑fidelity legal datasets for AI training and evaluate AI‑generated legal outputs for accuracy.
• Collaborate with technical specialists to translate legal reasoning into structured insights for model development.
• Identify inconsistencies, ambiguities, and gaps in legal materials and provide detailed feedback.

Required profile

• J.D. or equivalent law degree from an accredited institution and active bar membership (or international equivalent).
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a practicing attorney, with exposure to M&A, corporate law, commercial litigation, capital markets, or private equity.
• Strong analytical, legal reasoning, and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to technical and non‑technical audiences.
