Remote Procurement Manager – AI Lab Expert Role

About the role

We are partnering with a leading AI lab to train its language model on professional procurement documents, spreadsheets, and slide decks. The role involves creating, evaluating, and refining AI‑generated outputs for core procurement workflows such as RFP and RFQ drafting, vendor scoring, contract review, and spend analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, issue, and manage RFPs/RFQs, build vendor‑scoring and evaluation matrices, and ensure timely communication with suppliers throughout the sourcing cycle.
• Review, negotiate, and monitor supplier contracts and service‑level agreements, conduct spend‑analysis reports, and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Perform vendor‑risk assessments, support category‑strategy development, and maintain a savings‑pipeline review process.

Required profile

• At least 4 years of hands‑on experience in procurement, sourcing, or vendor/supplier management, with a proven track record of delivering results.
• Direct ownership of end‑to‑end RFP/RFQ processes and experience negotiating or reviewing vendor contracts and SLAs.
• Expert‑level proficiency in creating professional documents, complex spreadsheets, and polished slide decks, coupled with excellent written communication.
