Remote Senior Attorney – Energy Infrastructure

About the role

We are seeking a senior‑level Attorney to join a leading energy‑industry client on a part‑time, contract basis. The role is fully remote and focuses on reviewing and validating documentation related to site control, interconnection, and permitting for energy infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct senior‑level legal review and final validation of site control, interconnection, and permitting documents.
• Assess project materials for compliance with PJM generator interconnection procedures, queue‑readiness expectations, and FERC‑regulated processes.
• Resolve escalated issues by providing guidance on mitigation strategies.
• Maintain deep expertise in PJM interconnection compliance, FERC regulations, energy permitting, and site control review.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance and industry‑standard implementation.

Required profile

• Extensive knowledge of PJM interconnection compliance, FERC regulations, and energy permitting.
• Proven experience delivering senior‑level legal review of complex documentation.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and risk‑mitigation abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.
• Capacity to thrive in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining high quality.
