Reservations Agent – Anantara Mina Al Arab Resort

About the role

The Reservations Agent will support the Reservations department at Anantara Mina Al Arab Ras Al Khaimah Resort, ensuring smooth booking processes and contributing to the hotel's revenue goals. This full‑time, onsite position requires close adherence to standard operating procedures and a proactive approach to guest service.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, process, and confirm guest room reservations via phone, email or fax within company quality standards.
• Respond to all reservation inquiries within 24 hours and send confirmation letters within two hours.
• Update group rooming lists, billing instructions and special requests in OPMS.
• Apply the hotel’s credit policy to WHO and direct bookings.
• Create and maintain guest and company profiles in the Property Management System (PMS) following data entry standards.
• Generate daily trace and follow‑up reports and reconfirm expected arrivals 1, 3 and 7 days in advance.
• Monitor booking status, rates, packages and upsell opportunities to achieve revenue targets.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow SOPs accurately.
• Excellent communication skills for handling guest interactions.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with the reservations team.
• Familiarity with hotel reservation processes and credit policies.

Required skills

• Proficiency with OPMS (Online Property Management System).
• Experience using a PMS (Property Management System) for bookings and profile management.
