Reservations Agent – Hotel Guest Services

About the role

Join a leading hospitality brand as a Reservations Agent, handling guest reservation requests for a luxury property in Dubai. You will be the first point of contact for guests seeking room bookings, changes, or cancellations, ensuring a smooth and personalized experience.

Key responsibilities

• Process reservation requests, modifications, and cancellations received by phone, fax, or mail.
• Identify guest needs, verify room availability, and recommend appropriate room types and rates.
• Explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies clearly to callers.
• Document and accommodate special requests, answer questions about property facilities and services.
• Apply sales techniques to maximize revenue and input accurate data into the reservation system.
• Code special room types such as complimentary rooms, employee discounts, and wholesale rates.
• Follow escalation procedures for guest concerns and adhere to all company policies.
• Maintain a professional appearance, protect confidential information, and assist guests with disabilities.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience or specific licenses needed.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using a reservation system.
• Clear, professional verbal communication.
• Basic computer literacy and data entry accuracy.
