Reservations Agent

About the role

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Reservations Agent to join our hospitality team. In this role you will ensure smooth and efficient service delivery by managing guest reservations and providing exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Process and confirm guest room reservations received via phone, letter, or fax.
• Enter all reservation details into the computer system, maintaining accurate records.
• Handle inquiries, complaints, and special requests related to reservations.
• Stay up‑to‑date with hotel promotions and apply rate structures correctly.
• Maintain filing systems and prepare reports for the Reservations Manager.
• Promote positive public relations and work to maximize business opportunities.
• Maintain accurate room status and answer incoming calls according to Rotana standards.
• Organise visa requests for guests and identify up‑selling opportunities.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in hospitality or a related field.
• Previous experience in hotel reservations.
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills; additional languages are a plus.
• Customer‑focused, proactive, courteous, and approachable personality.
• Ability to work independently within a structured environment and build effective relationships with internal and external customers.
