Reservations Agent

About the role

As a Reservations Agent you will handle guest reservation enquiries and requests for Novotel hotels in the United Arab Emirates. The role demands professional communication, attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Process reservation queries, changes and cancellations received by phone, e‑mail and corporate channels, ensuring confirmations are sent within 24 hours.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of hotel products, rates, packages, promotions and visa requirements, and coordinate visa processing with the visa officer.
• Enter and modify bookings in the Opera (or similar CRS/GDS) system, generate pro‑forma invoices and monitor deposits and payments.
• Prepare daily arrival reports, group information sheets and ensure special requests are fulfilled.
• Monitor no‑shows, post charges and keep accurate room availability forecasts.

Required profile

• Minimum 12 months experience in hotel reservations, group sales or related customer‑service role.
• High school diploma required; hospitality degree preferred.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
• Strong time‑management and multitasking abilities.

Required skills

• Opera (or similar property management system).
• CRS (Central Reservation System) operation.
• GDS (Global Distribution System) usage.
