Reservations Agent – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Reservations Agent is the first point of contact for guests and partners, ensuring every booking is handled with professionalism and personalized service. You will work closely with the Front Office, Commercial, and Finance teams to deliver seamless reservation experiences at Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to all guest and partner enquiries via phone and email, offering suitable room types and curated experiences.
• Process reservations, modifications, cancellations, and group bookings while maintaining accurate records.
• Perform quality checks on arrivals and previous day reservations to ensure billing, VIP status, and preferences are up‑to‑date.
• Upsell higher room categories and promote current packages, promotions, and hotel offerings.
• Handle no‑show and late‑cancellation cases, follow‑up on pre‑payments, and manage complimentary or voucher stays.
• Resolve guest issues promptly and escalate when necessary.
• Collaborate with commercial and other departments, attend business meetings, and support administrative tasks such as reporting.

Required profile

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to operate a moderately complex computer system and accurately input reservation data.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Customer‑focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality.
