Reservations Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Reservations Officer to manage room bookings for Sofitel Dubai The Palm, a 5‑star beachfront resort in Dubai. The role involves handling reservation requests across phone, email and online channels while delivering exceptional guest service.

Key responsibilities

• Handle incoming and outgoing room reservation requests via phone, email, and online channels, ensuring compliance with hotel standards.
• Promote Accor loyalty programs and hotel promotions to increase guest retention and revenue.
• Identify potential clients and VIP guests, forwarding relevant information to the Sales Department.
• Maintain accurate reservation data in the Property Management System (PMS) and keep booking records up‑to‑date.
• Manage guest complaints or special requests, ensuring timely resolution and proper documentation.
• Monitor booking availability and provide regular reports on occupancy and reservation activity to management.
• Perform administrative tasks, manage daily checklists, and support special projects as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in Hospitality Management is a plus.
• Proven experience in reservations or customer service, preferably within a hotel environment.
• Excellent communication, sales and customer service abilities.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced setting.
• Fluency in English; additional languages are advantageous.
