Resident Engineer (Drainage, Water Network Projects)

About the role

The Resident Engineer will lead the delivery of drainage and water‑network projects, ensuring they are completed on schedule, within budget, and to stakeholder expectations. The position requires a strong on‑site presence and continuous coordination with construction teams, clients, contractors and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily construction progress and enforce project schedules.
• Control project costs and ensure financial targets are met.
• Coordinate with construction managers, site teams, clients, contractors and suppliers to resolve issues promptly.
• Ensure compliance with design specifications, safety standards and regulatory requirements for drainage and water‑network works.
• Report status, risks and performance metrics to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 12 years of experience in drainage, water‑network or related infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience with SWS Infra and water‑recycle projects.
• Demonstrated ability to work closely with construction managers, site teams and external stakeholders.

Required skills

• PMP certification.
• Proficiency in Primavera project‑management software.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
