Resident Engineer – Lead Site Supervision

About the role

The Resident Engineer will lead the site supervision team and act as the Engineer’s representative, ensuring all infrastructure works meet contract requirements, approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all on‑site construction activities.
• Serve as the primary point of contact between the client, contractor, and project stakeholders.
• Monitor progress against approved programmes and report project performance.
• Review and approve method statements, shop drawings, material submissions, and inspection requests.
• Lead site meetings, prepare progress reports and coordinate multidisciplinary supervision teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 15 years’ experience in construction supervision.
• At least 5 years as Resident Engineer on large‑scale infrastructure or mixed‑use developments.
• UAE/GCC experience is mandatory.

Required skills

• Strong experience in roads and utilities.
• Knowledge of wet and dry services and public‑realm projects.
• Proficiency with reviewing method statements, shop drawings and material submissions.
