Resident Engineer – Roads & Bridges

About the role

Parsons is seeking an experienced Resident Engineer to lead construction supervision for roads and bridge projects in Dubai. You will coordinate with contractors, authorities, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Manage engineering scope, schedules, change management and project close‑out while monitoring progress against budget.
• Coordinate approvals and hand‑over processes with local authorities and agencies.
• Review and approve contractor work, change orders, and ensure compliance with codes, standards and quality requirements.
• Maintain client expectations, provide regular progress updates and safeguard Parsons’ contractual rights.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum 15 years of post‑graduate experience in supervision and construction management of major roads, bridges and infrastructure projects, preferably in the GCC.
• Recent experience on community development projects in Dubai.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
